Why coaching?

Coaching is designed to help individuals or couples achieve certain targeted goals. During sessions, we will work together to design a structure which includes goals and a plan of action in order to meet specific needs. Some focus areas could include:

  • Mindfulness, Presence, and Authenticity Training
  • Physical Health and Wellbeing

How coaching differs from therapy.

The major difference between therapy and coaching is the focus of the work. Therapy focuses on mental health and emotional healing, while coaching is designed to help people meet goals that will bring them success and fulfillment in targeted areas of life. Coaching is appropriate for those who want to limit the work to clarifying and designing specific goals set for the present and future, without delving into the "why" of behavior which might be standing in the way. 

Insurance is not accepted for coaching and it is generally a short term process.
